Upon request, I make violins and violas of various sizes and different models.
During the development process a more active exchange between the customer and the violin-maker is very advantageous. Here, the customer can model the various stages. And then there is the delivery of an illustrated document creation.

Special requests are taken into account, such as the choice of the wood, style, sound quality, scale, color and accessories.

The delivery time is about three months.

Children Violins

During my education in Newark UK I experianced with a special kind of simplified violin. The target was not to make any compromises by choosing the raw materials. The shape of the violin reminds a bit on a guitar because of the cornerless outline. Remarkable is also the high arching on the back and the simplified scroll.
Another aim was the use of machinery to make the process faster.

Fiddle Race Violins

At least once a year I`m joining a fiddle race. Fiddle Race means that the instrument is built i the least possible time. Usually there are always a few makers joining a race together.
Such a race is very focused and the violin is built under quite a tension. Nevertheless these instruments are crafted always in surprisingly high standard and their sound is quite characteristic!
